    * Always ensure safe administration of your pet's medicines; keep it in its original packing and in a dry/cool environment unless otherwise instructed.

    * Keep away from the reach of children.

    * Always wash your hands after handling or administering medications.

    * If you have any allergies/sensitivities then we recommend wearing gloves to dose your animal.

    * Any items containing penicillin or related compounds will say so on the label. If so the following precautions apply:

    * Penicillin's may cause sensitisation (allergy) following injection, inhalation, ingestion or skin contact. Sensitivity to penicillin may lead to cross-sensitivity to cephalosporin and vice versa. Allergic reactions to these substances may occasionally be serious. Do not handle this product if you know you are sensitised or if you have been advised not to work with such preparations. Handle this product with care to avoid exposure taking all recommended precautions.

    If you develop symptoms following exposure such as skin rash you should seek medical advice and show the doctor this warning. Swelling of the face, lips or eyes or difficulty breathing is more serious symptoms and require urgent medical attention. Wash your hand after use.

    Although you will have already noted in the terms and conditions you read before placing your order, it is worth re-iterating that you should visit the NOAH website (National Office of Animal Health) www.noahcompendium.co.uk and enter the pet's medication in the search box to access important information regarding warnings and contra-indications particular to the drug(s) you purchased. If you are unsure or have any queries please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Any unused product or waste materials should be disposed of in accordance with national requirements for pharmaceutical products. In case of accidental self-administration, seek medical advice immediately and show the package/label to the Doctor.

    PAYMENT

    We accept Credit Card, Debit Card payments via SagePay.

    Cards we accept, (MasterCard / Visa / Visa Delta / Visa Electron / Visa Purchasing).


    If you want to pay by cheque please select this option in the payment area and make the cheque payable to FiveMileTown Pharmacy and then post this to us with your order number, telephone number and address written on the back. Please note we do allow 5 working days for the cheque to clear, we will then post your order to you.

    The goods will not be delivered until the customer's funds that have been paid to Vetmedicinesdirect.co.uk and have cleared in full.

    We make every effort to make sure all information is correct and up-to-date. Please note that all images and information given is for reference only. Any concerns should about the medication should be raised before the time of order. Please note that images are for reference only and pack shots may not be the latest packaging. We sometimes only show one pack shot but there is multiple selection against that product for clarity.

    ORDER NOTES

    Please note that all transactions will be carried out in sterling. Once you have placed your order, confirmation will be sent to you via e-mail complete with Transaction and Order Reference numbers. Vetmedicinesdirect.co.uk monitor prices on a daily basis.

    We will not be held responsible for pricing errors due to software mal-functions, or human error. This website operates on an 'invitation to treat' basis and not as an 'offer for sale' as a result, Vetmedicinesdirect.co.uk reserves the right to decline orders for bulk or high value purchases.

    DELIVERY

    The majority of orders are posted within 12-24 hours of receipt although our policy is that orders will be sent to you in 3-5 days for non prescription items or 3-5 days from receipt of original prescription posted to us.
    If you have chosen to pay by cheque please note that we do allow 5 working days on receipt of the cheque for it to clear prior to sending out your order.

Your email address or any other information is not passed onto any other companies.

    RETURNS POLICY AND GUARANTEE

    We guarantee your satisfaction. All of our products come with a no fuss guarantee although there are terms and conditions due to us selling veterinary medications.

    In accordance with the EU Distance Selling Directive, you are entitled to cancel your order at anytime within 7 days of receiving your goods. The cancellation period ends on the expiry of the period of 7 working days beginning with the day after the day on which you received the goods. If you wish to cancel an order under these terms, first contact us and then return your products unopened within 7 days of receiving your parcel, on receipt we will refund if our terms have been met. We must receive your products back within 3 days of us accepting your request to return. If items are received after 3 days we reserve the right to refuse to refund.

    Please note legislation prevents us from accepting returns of Prescription Medication, therefore we do not refund on any prescription medication. We remain the right to refuse to refund for Prescription Medication and this will be dealt with at our discretion. In very rare special circumstances a refund may be given but this is at discretion of the management. If this is granted then the medication must be returned unused, in original packaging and returned within 7 days of receipt.
    Vetmedicinesdirect.co.uk also remains the right to refuse to refund on items where packaging has been damaged in any way.

    There is a £2.50 re-stocking fee when items are returned to us that are no longer required or have been ordered incorrectly by you. Please note that you have to cover the postal charges incurred by sending back items

    DAMAGED ITEMS

    Although we do try and ensure that your items reach you in good condition if Royal Mail has delivered an item damaged to you or there is a problem with a product you have purchased from us, you must contact us within 7 days of receiving the item. We can't replace or refund on damaged items that haven't been reported to us within 7 days of receipt. We advise you to check all your items as soon as they arrive.

    MEDICATION PROBLEMS

    If you feel a medication has not worked for your pet you need to contact the manufacture direct to discuss this with them or the VMD. Vetmedicinesdirect.co.uk are not responsible for effectiveness of medication. If you need the manufactures details for any product you have purchased from us we can supply this for you. Vetmedicinesdirect.co.uk does not refund or exchange any medications you believe have not been effective.
